The Sømmet ("the Nail") is a Scandinavian inline lure that casts like a rocket and swims like a sand eel — the go-to prey for big sea trout hunting the shallows. Pearl Ghost gives you a subtle, translucent profile that excels in clear, calm conditions.
Despite its slender, nail-like shape, the Sømmet comes alive in the water with a convincing sand eel action — precisely what large sea trout are looking for when they patrol shallow coastal flats. The hand-painted Pearl Ghost finish adds a natural, ghostly shimmer without overpowering on clear days.
The run-through inline construction keeps the hook in direct line with the fish's pull, dramatically reducing leverage and the chance of the hook working loose during the fight. Rig it with a small bead to protect your knot, then tie directly to a single or treble hook — or mount the hook on an oval split ring if you prefer a free-swinging action. Three beads and an oval split ring are included.
