The Sømmet ("the Nail") is a Scandinavian inline lure that earns its place in any serious sea trout angler's kit — slender, hard-casting, and deceptively alive in the water. The Olive Diamond colour brings a natural, muted shimmer that works well across varied light and water conditions.
The run-through (inline) rigging routes your line directly through the lure body, which keeps the hook aligned with the fish's pull during the fight. The result is a more direct connection and fewer breakoffs compared to split-ring setups. A small bead — included in the package — protects the knot from the lure's zinc body.
Sand eels are the primary forage for large sea trout hunting over shallow flats and beaches, and the Sømmet's slender profile reproduces that baitfish silhouette convincingly. At 10cm and 16g it punches above its weight in casting distance, letting you cover ground efficiently when working exposed coastline or sandy shallows.
