SØMMET 28G 12CM GOLDEN HOUR
incl. VAT, excl.
The Sømmet ("the Nail") is a Scandinavian cult inline lure trusted by hardcore sea trout anglers. At 28 g and 12 cm, this hand-painted zinc body punches into headwinds and reaches distant feeding zones other lures simply cannot.
Despite its sleek, nail-like profile, the Sømmet comes alive in the water as a convincing sand eel imitation — the number-one prey item for large sea trout hunting in shallow coastal flats. The swimming action triggers instinctive strikes even from wary fish.
The run-through inline (in-line) rigging eliminates the leverage point of a fixed treble, dramatically reducing the chance of losing fish during the fight. Run your mainline through the lure body, thread the included bead for knot protection, then tie directly to a single hook or treble hook (size #5 / #4 / #3). For a free-swinging hook, attach it to the included oval split ring and tie your line to the double-stranded section of the ring.
The Sømmet is available in three weights and sizes across a range of colours — match the size and colour to your conditions and target depth.
SØMMET 16 g / 10 cm — lightest option; ideal for calm days, slower retrieves, and very shallow water; available in Mad Tobis, Pearl Ghost, Smoked Chrome, Dull Sunrise, Clown, Olive Diamond, Golden Hour, Motoroil UV
SØMMET 22 g / 11 cm — versatile mid-size; covers most coastal sea trout scenarios; available in Motoroil UV, Mad Tobis, Dull Sunrise, Olive Diamond, Smoked Chrome, Clown, Golden Hour
SØMMET 28 g / 12 cm — heaviest and longest; maximises casting range in wind or surf; built for open beaches and bigger fish; available in Golden Hour, Smoked Chrome, Motoroil UV, Clown, Dull Sunrise, Pearl Ghost, Mad Tobis, Olive Diamond
