A Scandinavian coastal classic, the Westin Skruen H-Skruen (H-spinner) has earned its reputation over many years as one of the most reliable sea trout lures on Danish coasts and harbours. The Pink Pearl colour combines subtle iridescence with hand-painted detail that holds up in clear and slightly coloured water alike.
The Skruen's defining feature is its tight rotation around its own axis the moment you pause the retrieve. That spin-stop flutter is a proven sea trout trigger — keep the line taut during each pause and you'll feel exactly when a fish commits.
Even at a steady wind-in pace the Skruen tracks true and casts well, making it easy to cover distance from the shore. Use a fluorocarbon leader (ø0.4 mm recommended) to keep the presentation natural and reduce visibility at the business end.
The Skruen is available in two sizes and a wide range of colours. The 15g / 5.9cm models are well-suited to lighter rods and calmer conditions, while the 20g / 7.6cm models cast further into wind and reach depth faster in stronger currents.
