The Sømmet ("the Nail") is a Scandinavian cult inline lure that punches well above its weight. Slim and aerodynamic, it fires out long casts and swims with an irresistible sand eel action that big sea trout simply can't ignore in shallow water.
The inline (run-through line) concept gives the Sømmet outstanding casting performance. Its slender zinc body cuts through wind effortlessly, putting the lure right in the zone – even from exposed shorelines. Once in the water, the profile and action mimic a fleeing sand eel with convincing realism, hand-painted for a natural finish.
Because the line runs directly through the body, there is no rigid connection between lure and hook during the fight. This reduces leverage and keeps hook holds under steady pressure, meaning fewer fish shake free. Three beads and an oval split ring are included so you can rig with a fixed or free-swinging single hook or treble hook (size #5 / #4 / #3) straight out of the packet. The bead protects your knot from damage at the lure's rear.
