The Sølvpilen casts like a bullet and lands like a sand eel — a slim, zinc-bodied metal lure designed in Scandinavia that has accounted for sea trout well over 5 kg and Atlantic salmon to 10.7 kg from the surf. Silver Diamond delivers a bright, high-contrast flash that works across a wide range of light conditions.
The slender body shape and balanced weight distribution let the Sølvpilen cut through coastal wind with minimal tumble, reaching distances that bulkier lures can't match. In the water it mimics the darting action of a sand eel — exactly the prey image that triggers aggressive takes from sea trout hunting along the shore.
The lure is built from zinc rather than lead, making it a responsible choice where lead-free regulations apply. The hook is mounted via the Stay On system — a double split ring arrangement that reduces leverage on the hook point during the fight, keeping the hook seated without sacrificing free hook movement.
