The Sømmet ("the Nail") is a proven inline lure built for hardcore sea trout fishing in shallow coastal water. At 12cm and 28g, this is the heaviest size in the range – designed to punch into the wind and cover serious distances from the shore.

Sand Eel Imitation That Triggers Big Trout

Despite its slender, nail-like profile, the Sømmet comes alive in the water as a convincing sand eel imitation. Sand eels are among the most important prey items for large sea trout hunting the shallows, and this colour – Mad Tobis – is painted by hand to reflect exactly that forage.

Inline Rigging Keeps Fish on the Hook

The run-through inline (in-line) design means the line passes directly through the lure body, so there is no lever action working against you during the fight. Thread your line through the lure, slide on a small bead to protect the knot, then tie directly to a single hook or treble hook of your choice. For a free-swinging hook, mount it on the included oval split ring and tie your knot to the double-stranded section of the ring. Three beads and an oval split ring are included.
