The Gotlandspilen is a purpose-built saltwater casting lure designed to cover ground fast and work effectively through shallow coastal areas. In Pink Pearl, its hand-painted finish adds a subtle, pearlescent flash that stands out in clear, bright conditions.
The Gotlandspilen's aerodynamic profile delivers exceptional casting distance, letting you reach fish holding far out on shallow flats or along coastal edges. Once it lands, its slow, controllable retrieve keeps it in the strike zone without snagging the bottom — ideal for the shallow areas where sea trout and coastal predators roam.
In the water, the Gotlandspilen swims with wide, irregular movements that closely mimic an injured baitfish. This unpredictable action is difficult for predators to ignore, making it effective even when fish are finicky. The lure comes pre-rigged on 0.4mm fluorocarbon, with the choice of a Trout treblehook (#6–#8) for open water or a Seatrout singlehook (#2–1/0) for fishing around structure and weed.
