The original H-Skruen (screw lure) has earned its reputation over many years as one of the most effective spinning lures for sea trout along Danish coasts and harbours. This 20g / 7.6cm version in Real Silver delivers outstanding casting range and a lifelike, enticing action that coastal predators find hard to ignore.
The Skruen's signature move is its axial rotation during spin-stops — the brief pauses in your retrieve when the lure spins in place and mimics a fleeing, disoriented baitfish. Keep the line taut through every stop: sea trout typically strike at precisely this moment. The lure also tracks straight and true on a steady retrieve, giving you full control over depth and speed.
Every Skruen is finished with hand-painted, detailed colours that hold up to repeated use in salt and brackish water. Real Silver provides a natural, flashy profile that performs well in clear conditions and bright light. The lure comes rigged with a Treble hook (#8) or Single hook (#2) — choose the treble for maximum hooking efficiency or the single hook for easier unhooking and release. A fluorocarbon leader (ø0.4mm) is recommended to reduce visibility at the business end.
