The Gotlandspilen (named after the Swedish island of Gotland) is a saltwater spoon built for anglers who need to cover distance and work shallow coastal zones with confidence. At 9.7cm and 25g, this copper-finished version loads up rods quickly and punches through coastal winds.
The Gotlandspilen's aerodynamic profile delivers extra-long casts even in challenging conditions. Once in the water, it produces wide, irregular flashes and surges that convincingly mimic an injured baitfish — exactly the kind of vulnerable signal that triggers a reaction strike from seatrout, garfish, or other coastal predators.
This lure arrives pre-rigged with your choice of a Trout treblehook (#6–#8) or a Seatrout singlehook (#2–1/0), both mounted on a 0.4mm fluorocarbon trace. The singlehook option reduces snagging when fishing over sandy shallows or weed edges, while the treble maximises hook-up rate in open water. The Real Copper finish offers a warm, reflective tone that performs well in low-contrast or murky light conditions.
