The Gotlandspilen (Swedish for "the Gotland arrow") is a hand-painted saltwater spoon built to cover water fast and fish efficiently over shallow ground. In Salmo Trutta finish, its realistic brown-trout coloration is a natural match for coastal sea trout.
The Gotlandspilen's streamlined spoon profile cuts through the air for extra-long casts, letting you cover extensive shallows from the shore or wading. Once in the water, it can be retrieved at a slow, controlled pace without snagging the bottom — ideal for the skinny water that coastal sea trout prefer.
On the retrieve, the lure swings with wide, unpredictable rashes that closely mimic an injured baitfish. This erratic action at a slow-to-medium pace creates an easy target for sea trout and other saltwater predators, triggering reaction bites even from neutral fish.
