The Balzer Shooter Spoon is a propeller-style trout spoon designed to spin on the lightest retrieve — a subtle, irresistible action that has proven to draw bites even from completely inactive fish.
Thanks to its distinctive propeller shape, the Shooter Spoon rotates around its own axis with minimal forward motion. This means you can fish it extremely slowly — a real advantage in cold water or pressured spots where trout refuse faster-moving lures. The consistent rotation also makes it equally effective on a standard medium retrieve.
Each spoon features contrasting colours on the top and underside, creating a vivid, flickering colour play as it spins — a visual trigger that stands out in clear and coloured water alike. A micro triple swivel (micro-Dreifachwirbel) is fitted as standard, preventing line twist even after extended casting sessions. The aerodynamic profile also allows for long, accurate casts.
