Balzer Metallica Inliner Spoon - Forellenspoon
incl. VAT, excl.
The Balzer Metallica Inliner Spoon (Inline Spoon) is a dedicated trout spoon designed for spinning at put-and-take lakes and trout fisheries, combining a unique inline setup with proven wobbling action.
A central line channel runs through the body of the spoon, allowing you to thread your mainline directly through the lure. The included single hook with split ring is then attached at the line end — a clean, tangle-resistant inline rig that keeps the spoon running true on every retrieve.
During a steady retrieve, the spoon delivers a consistent wobbling, tumbling action that draws trout in from distance. On the pause, it doesn't just sink — it flutters enticingly toward the bottom, triggering reaction strikes from fish that followed without committing.
All variants of the Balzer Metallica Inliner Spoon share the same trout-focused inline spoon concept, but differ in colour and finish. Select your variant based on light conditions and water clarity:
Inline rigging (central line channel) + Single hook with split ring + Wobbling, fluttering on stop — This is the standard configuration, including the current product. Ideal for all-round use at trout lakes; the stop-and-flutter action is especially effective when fish are holding near the bottom or are reluctant to chase.
Variants with wobbling/fluttering on pause follow the same principle with a slightly different cadence cue — useful when a slower, more drawn-out flutter is needed.
Variants listed simply as inline + wobbling suit anglers who prefer a continuous, non-stop retrieve with less emphasis on the drop phase.
