Balzer Shooter Spoon - Forellenspoon
The Balzer Shooter Spoon is a propeller-style trout spoon designed to trigger strikes from even the most reluctant fish — rotating on its own axis at the lightest retrieve speed.
Thanks to its distinctive propeller shape, the Shooter Spoon begins spinning immediately with the slightest tension on the line. This self-rotating action produces a lifelike, fluttering motion that trout find hard to ignore — even when fish are completely passive and showing no interest in conventional lures.
Because it can be fished extremely slowly without losing action, the Shooter Spoon is an excellent choice for cold-water and winter sessions when trout metabolism slows and aggressive retrieves put fish off. The contrasting colours on the top and underside create a dynamic, alternating colour flash as the spoon rotates — adding visual stimulus that helps seal the deal. Each spoon is fitted with a micro triple swivel (Micro-Dreifachwirbel) that effectively prevents line twist, keeping your setup tangle-free session after session. The aerodynamic profile also allows for long, accurate casts.
The Balzer Shooter Spoon — Forellenspoon is available in a wide range of colour combinations across the matrix. Two hook configurations appear across the range:
Triple hook with micro swivel — eliminates line twist; ideal for slow, deep retrieves and pressured trout in still waters and stocked lakes
Triple hook (treble) — standard treble configuration; suits active fish and stream conditions
All variants share the same propeller-spoon body and rotating swimming action, targeting trout across varying conditions.
