The defining feature of this jig head is the built-up lead bead (Wulst) behind the hook eye. When you thread a softbait with a firmer rubber compound onto the shank, the collar bites into the plastic and prevents the lure from riding up during casts and aggressive retrieves. At 7g and hook size 3/0, this combination suits softbaits from roughly 5 cm upward that have a fuller, rounder body profile.

Very Sharp Hook for Positive Hook-Sets

The hook itself is needle-sharp out of the packet, reducing the effort needed to drive the point home on the strike.
