Lead Collar for a Locked-In Fit

The defining feature of this jig head is the pronounced lead bead collar on the hook shank. Softer or larger-profile rubber lures with a fuller body grip this collar firmly, preventing the bait from sliding down during aggressive jigging or after a strike. At hook size 3/0 and 14g, the collar is well-proportioned — there is enough exposed shank to mount softbaits from around 8 cm upward without the collar dominating the hook length.

Sharp Hook, Ready to Fish

The hook itself is chemically sharpened to a fine point straight out of the pack, so there is no need for pre-trip touch-ups.
