Lead Collar for a Firm Softbait Hold

The distinctive lead collar (Wulst) on the hook shank gives bulkier, firmer-compound softbaits something to grip against. This prevents the bait from riding up the shank during casting or retrieval, keeping your rig looking natural in the water. It works best with softbaits from around 5 cm upward, matched to the hook size.
