Plump-bodied softbaits with a firmer rubber compound are the intended match, as they grip the lead collar better. Start with lures from 5 cm and increase lure size in proportion to the hook, checking body shape and material as well as length.
Choose a hook that fits your softbait, then select an available weight for that size. Size 1 offers 3.5–10 g, 1/0 offers 3.5–14 g, 2/0 offers 7–17 g, and 3/0 and 4/0 offer 7–28 g. Not every weight is available with every hook, so check the combination rather than weight alone.
Versions weighing 3.5, 7 or 10 g contain five jig heads. Versions weighing 14, 17, 21 or 28 g contain four. Each pack contains the selected hook-size and weight combination, so account for the quantity difference when buying replacements.

These lead jig heads are made for rigging softbaits, particularly plump-bodied lures with a firmer rubber compound. A lead collar on the hook shank holds the lure in place, while each head has a very sharp hook.
The supplier recommends starting with lures from 5 cm and increasing lure size in proportion to hook size. Body shape and material matter as well as length, since firmer, fuller-bodied softbaits grip the lead collar better. Hooks smaller than size 1 are unsuitable for this collar design because the collar would cover almost the entire shank. The available range starts at size 1.
Match the hook to your softbait first, then choose from the weights available for that size. Several sizes share the same weights, so you can change head weight without changing hook size within the listed options.
Hook size | Available weights | Heads per pack |
|---|---|---|
1 | 3.5, 7, 10 g | 5 |
1/0 | 3.5, 7, 10, 14 g | 5 at 3.5–10 g, 4 at 14 g |
2/0 | 7, 10, 14, 17 g | 5 at 7–10 g, 4 at 14–17 g |
3/0 | 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 28 g | 5 at 7–10 g, 4 at 14–28 g |
4/0 | 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 28 g | 5 at 7–10 g, 4 at 14–28 g |
Each pack contains one hook-size and weight combination. Check both specifications and the pack quantity when choosing your version.
