Bead Collar for a Firm Bait Fit

The defining feature of this jig head is the moulded lead bead collar on the hook shank. It digs into firmer rubber compounds and rounder-bellied shads, keeping the softbait locked in position cast after cast. At hook size 2/0, it pairs well with softbaits from roughly 8 cm upward, giving enough exposed shank ahead of the collar to seat the bait cleanly without bunching.

Sharp Hook, Consistent Penetration

The hook point is needle-sharp straight from the packet, which matters when fishing for predators with hard jaws. The 10g lead head gives a moderate sink rate suitable for shallow to mid-depth presentations — useful when working over structured ground or through the water column at a controlled pace.
