The W6 is built using Westin's proprietary "Advanced High PIC" weave — 36 weaves per inch across all eight carriers — resulting in a noticeably round, compact profile that punches well above its 0.148mm diameter. This tight construction yields high abrasion resistance and knot strength, while the smooth surface translates directly into longer, more accurate casts, even with lighter lures.

Dura-Coating Technology for Lasting Cast Performance

Every spool of W6 Braid is finished with a Dura-Coating gel process that bonds a hydrophobic layer to the line surface. This reduces water uptake and lowers friction against rod guides, maintaining consistent casting distances session after session. Colour stability is locked in by soaking in dye tanks and oven-curing the pigment before a final dura-coat seal — so the Lime Punch colour holds its visibility over time without bleeding or fading quickly.
