The W6 is built using Westin's proprietary "Advanced High PIC" (Picks Per Inch) weave, combining 8 premium Japanese UHMPE (Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene) carriers at 36 weaves per inch. The result is a noticeably round profile with outstanding knot strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and a diameter-to-strength ratio that outperforms many competitors — all at 0.128mm with a 5.5kg breaking strain.

Dura-Coating for Longer, More Accurate Casts

A Dura-Coating gel process seals the braid with a smooth, hydrophobic surface that sheds water, reduces line-to-guide friction, and maintains performance through a full session. Colour is locked in by soaking in dye tanks before oven curing and a final Dura-Coat seal, keeping the bright Lime Punch visible and intact even after extended use in saltwater or freshwater.
