Bead Collar Designed for Chunky Softbaits

The lead bead (Wulst) on the hook shank locks firmer-compound and fuller-bodied softbaits securely in place, preventing the bait from sliding down during aggressive jigging or after a strike. At hook size 4/0, the shank is long enough for the collar to grip effectively without being buried inside the bait — making this combination particularly well-suited to softbaits from around 12 cm and upward.
