VMC 7242 Redentex Front+ Hook - Einzelhaken
incl. VAT, excl.
The VMC 7242 Redentex Front+ Hook is a heavy-duty single hook engineered for slow-trolling live and dead baitfish after large, powerful marine species. Three hooks per pack, size 7/0.
The Locking Curve geometry is designed to maximise hook-up rates on the strike and keep fish pinned throughout a tough fight. Once the point finds its mark, the bend geometry works against the fish to resist pulling free — an important advantage when targeting hard-charging species like amberjack or large snapper.
Forged from vanadium steel, the reinforced 7242 Front+ delivers the backbone needed to handle big, aggressive fish without bending or fatiguing. The Coastal PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating provides strong corrosion resistance against saltwater exposure and extends the life of the long, needle-sharp point so it stays fishable across multiple sessions. A Resin Closed Eye ensures the hook stays firmly rigged on the baitfish, while a red accent point adds a subtle visual trigger.
All variants share the same Locking Curve design, vanadium steel construction, and Coastal PTFE coating. Select your size based on target species, bait size, and typical bait-trolling conditions:
3/0 — 6 hooks per pack: Lighter presentations, smaller baitfish, medium predators
4/0 — 5 hooks per pack: Stepping up in bait and target size
5/0 — 4 hooks per pack: Versatile mid-range option for a variety of saltwater species
6/0 — 3 hooks per pack: Larger baits, bigger predators
7/0 — 3 hooks per pack: Maximum strength for large amberjack, big snapper, and other hard-fighting offshore species
