Designed as the mirror-image companion to the Redentex Front Hook, this vanadium steel single hook positions cleanly at the rear of a livebait for slow-trolling after predatory saltwater species.
The Locking Curve geometry is engineered to turn and find purchase quickly when a fish takes the bait, improving hook-up rates during the slow, deliberate presentation of live or dead baitfish. This makes it a dependable back hook for slow-trolling rigs where the strike angle matters.
The Coastal PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating provides a meaningful barrier against saltwater corrosion, extending the working life of the hook in demanding marine conditions. It also preserves the needle-sharp point longer, so each session starts with a hook that penetrates cleanly without extra force. A red dot on the resin closed eye adds a subtle visual trigger and ensures the eye stays firmly secured to the bait.
