The FTM Trout New Generation Walker Schlepppose (trolling float) is purpose-built for drag-fishing trout baits across trout ponds and lakes, combining a clean line-through design with excellent casting behaviour.

The built-in line channel lets you thread your mainline directly through the float in seconds. Simply slide on a rubber bead as a knot protector, then attach a trout swivel or triple swivel — your trolling rig is ready to fish. No complicated rigging, no wasted time on the bank.

Effective at Depth with Long Leaders

Designed for use with leaders of around two metres, the float works seamlessly with a split shot pinched onto the leader to sink your bait to the target depth. Trout paste, waxworms, and other trolling baits are all presented naturally at the level trout are feeding, making this setup equally effective in stocked ponds and larger trout lakes.

Choose the Right Variant

All variants share the same Schlepppose design and line-channel construction. The variants in this range differ in carrying capacity (load rating), letting you match the float to your bait weight and leader setup. Select a lighter rating for small baits and calm water, or a heavier rating when using larger baits or fishing at greater depth.
