The FTM Steckpiloten (plug-in pilot float) is a compact, reusable trout indicator float designed to signal takes with minimal resistance — so the fish never feels the rig.

Sensitive, Resistance-Free Bite Detection

Once a trout picks up the bait, the sliding pilot ball offers virtually no resistance, giving the fish no reason to drop the hook. This makes it ideal for shy, pressured trout in still waters where a conventional fixed float would spook fish or cause ejections.

Adjustable Depth, Simple Setup

A removable plastic rod is fixed through the centre of the float body and attached to the main line or trace using two silicone sleeves. This lets you slide the float up or down to adjust fishing depth or leader length quickly without re-rigging. The bright red colour keeps the float visible even at long range.
