FTM Trout New Generation Runner Float — Three Rigs in One

The FTM Trout New Generation Runner is a versatile trout float designed for stillwater trout fishing that adapts to three proven presentation styles — fixed, sliding, or runner — from a single piece of tackle.

Fish Effectively at Distance

Fix the float above the antenna with a stop knot and attach a short trout leader to cast confidently to far-bank or mid-lake holding spots. This fixed setup keeps the bait at a precise, shallow depth while maximising casting range on trout lakes and trout ponds.

Three Presentation Modes — One Float

Slide the stop knot up the main line and pinch a small split shot onto the leader to convert the float into a sliding (gliding) rig that sinks the bait to a set depth. Or rig it true to its name as a "Runner": attach an approximately 2 m trout leader with shot to carry the bait deep and let it run back naturally through the swim — ideal when trout are holding in deeper water.
