WFT Gliss KG Monotex — Monofilament Feel with Braided Strength

The WFT Gliss KG Monotex is a braided line that behaves like a mono — round, smooth, and easy to handle — yet delivers roughly four times the breaking strain of premium monofilament at the same diameter. This 150 m spool in green, 0.12 mm / 6 kg is a versatile all-rounder for light to medium freshwater and saltwater fishing.

Mono-Like Handling, Braided Performance

Thanks to its perfectly round, smooth Monotex construction, the Gliss KG lays flat on fixed-spool reels with almost no memory, produces a clean spool profile cast after cast, and slips through rod guides with minimal friction. The result is noticeably longer casts compared to standard braided lines of the same breaking strain.

Built to Last — Low Stretch, UV Stable, Colour-Fast

The line absorbs virtually no water, so its behaviour is consistent from the first cast to the last. Stretch is very low, giving excellent bite detection and direct hook-sets. UV resistance is rated as virtually unlimited, and the green colour is highly fade-resistant — both important if you fish in bright conditions or leave line on a reel for an extended season.
