The WFT Gliss KG Monotex Line is a braided fishing line for anglers who want very high breaking strain, low stretch, and smooth handling on fixed spool reels. Its round, stable profile helps it lay neatly on the spool and supports long, controlled casts.
WFT describes this line as mechanically similar to monofilament, while still delivering the strength advantages of a braided construction. The smooth, round surface and low water absorption help it keep its shape and maintain a clean line lay during repeated casting.
Low stretch improves direct contact to the lure and supports solid bite detection. Combined with the slick finish, this makes the line a good choice when casting distance and steady handling matter.
The supplier highlights a high breaking strain relative to diameter, which makes this series useful when you want to fish thin line without giving up too much pulling power. That suits a wide range of lure and general predator applications.
Every variant in this product line comes on a 2000 m spool in green. That makes it practical for anglers filling several reels, topping up line reserves, or keeping a consistent setup across different reel sizes.
