WFT KG STRONG Schnur 600m 0,18mm 22kg
The WFT KG Strong is an 8-carrier round braid built for anglers who demand reliability across every discipline — from freshwater spinning to deep-sea fishing in Norway and beyond.
The 8-carrier round braid geometry is key to the KG Strong's performance. A truly round cross-section slides off the spool cleanly, maximises casting distance, and — critically — prevents the line from cutting into lower layers under load. Round braid also presents a smaller profile to current, significantly reducing drift and keeping your presentation where you intend it.
WFT has embedded new colour pigments into a specialist surface coating that slows colour fade by a factor of ten compared to standard dyeing methods. The Multicolor variant changes colour every 10 m across five distinct colours, giving you a built-in depth and distance reference with every cast. The coating also provides meaningful abrasion resistance for fishing around structure.
All three variants share the same 0.18 mm diameter, 22 kg breaking strain, 8-carrier round braid construction and 600 m spool. The difference is colour — choose based on visibility preference and fishing style:
WFT KG Strong 0.18 mm 22 kg 600 m — Multicolor: colour changes every 10 m (5 colour sequence); ideal for counting down lures, tracking drift, or any technique where depth/distance awareness matters in salt or fresh water
WFT KG Strong 0.18 mm 22 kg 600 m — Green: low-visibility natural tone; well-suited to clear or lightly coloured freshwater
WFT KG Strong 0.18 mm 22 kg 600 m — Yellow: high-visibility single colour; easy to track on the surface, good for contact-sensitive techniques
