The WFT KG Strong (Kilogram Strong) is an 8-carrier round-braided fishing line built for demanding anglers who need reliable breaking strain and casting distance across a wide range of techniques and environments.
The 8-carrier weave produces a genuinely round cross-section — and that shape matters. A round profile slips off the spool cleanly, casts farther, and resists cutting into lower line layers under load. It also presents a smaller face to current, noticeably reducing drift so your lure or rig holds position better in flowing or tidal water.
New pigment technology bonds colour directly into a dedicated surface coating, slowing colour fade by a factor of ten compared to standard dyed braid. The same coating adds abrasion resistance, protecting the line against rocks, gravel, and rough guides over the course of a long season.
