Built for anglers who fish XXL shads and heavy lures all day, the W4 Powershad-T (Power Shad Trigger) 2nd Generation delivers a refined balance of a softer, bite-detecting tip and serious backbone — so you hit hard and stay in control when a big predator runs.
The blank is constructed from Torayca High Performance Carbon and reinforced with 1k woven carbon for exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. At 296 g, the rod handles a 50–150 g casting range with authority while remaining manageable over long sessions. A custom-made rubber non-slip end cap adds grip security during hard casts.
The fast progressive action gives you a responsive tip for reading lure movement and tracking takes, while the powerful mid-section and butt drive hooks home on the strike. Designed primarily for large softbaits, the rod performs equally well with hard lures, spinnerbaits, and other heavy predator rigs.
