Built for anglers who chase pike and muskie with big lures, the W6 Powercast-T (Power Cast-Technique) 2nd Generation combines a stiff 3XH action with a lightweight Torayca® carbon blank to deliver explosive casting power and precise lure control.
The blank is constructed from 40T+T1100 Torayca® High Performance Carbon — a dual-modulus layup that keeps rod weight down to 190 g while generating the backbone needed to cast lures up to 195 g and turn big fish away from structure. The fast action loads and releases energy quickly, giving large swimbaits, spinnerbaits, and jerkbaits a tight, accurate flight path cast after cast.
Fuji® SiC guides ensure smooth line flow and handle braid or fluorocarbon without heat build-up, even during long retrieves. The Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat locks a size 300 baitcaster firmly in place with zero play. The Westin 3C Carbon Handle (Close Contact Carbon) is custom-moulded for a secure, comfortable grip during heavy-duty casting sessions. A Seaguide® TiDHOOK#4 hook keeper rounds out the specification.
The W6 Powercast-T 2nd is available in two power classes, both 2.36 m / 2-piece, with a transport length of 122 cm:
