The W2 Finesse Shad-T (Shad-Twitching) is a light-to-medium baitcasting rod built around a progressive-fast action and a highly sensitive 24/30-tonne high-performance carbon blank — a combination that lets you feel every tap while still driving the hook home in hard predator jaws.
The progressive-fast blank loads smoothly under pressure, giving you the casting range to work both hard baits and soft plastics with precision. As the fight develops, that same progressive curve absorbs runs and headshakes, reducing the chance of a hook pulling free — a real advantage when targeting bony-mouthed species like pike and asp.
Built from 24/30-tonne high-performance carbon, the blank transmits even the subtlest takes straight to your hand. The Seaguide SXQLSG premium guides keep line moving cleanly during the cast and protect the blank under load. The VFC-2 reel seat locks your baitcaster firmly in place, while the split EVA handle keeps weight down and contact with the blank high. A custom non-slip rubber butt cap and integrated Seaguide Dhook hook keeper round out a practical, fishing-first design.
