Made from premium Japanese Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene (UHMPE) fibers, the W10 Coastal uses a 13X (12+1) design — 12 carriers woven tightly around a central CORE carrier. This architecture produces an exceptionally round profile with greater breaking strength than standard 8X braids. The "Advanced Ultra High PIC" construction adds 56 weaves per inch, translating to outstanding abrasion resistance and a glassy-smooth surface that glides effortlessly through rod guides for longer, more accurate casts.

Double Dura-Coating Fights Wind Knots and Water Absorption

Coastal anglers repeatedly cast into strong onshore winds — a scenario that punishes loose or limp braids with wind knots. The W10 Coastal counters this with a Double Dura-Coating: the gel process stiffens the line, creates a hydrophobic surface that sheds water, and reduces friction through the guides. Colour stability is locked in by soaking the braid in dye tanks, oven-curing the pigment, and sealing the result with a double gel-coat for long-lasting colour retention.
