The Jerkbite MR (Medium Runner) is Westin's slim, perfectly balanced 9 cm suspending jerkbait, built to trigger predators when nothing else will. Deadly in Hot Shad finish, it runs 1–2 m deep on an aggressive, darting retrieve.
Most strikes on the Jerkbite come not during the retrieve but in the pause — because the lure's precise suspension balance keeps it motionless right in the strike zone. Work it with sharp rod twitches and vary the pause length to match fish mood: shorter in warm water, longer when temperatures drop. Even a steady wind-in produces a seductive action from this slim profile.
Two steel balls shift into the tail during the cast for a streamlined flight, then roll forward into the belly on the retrieve. This weight transfer delivers long, accurate casts and enhances the erratic darting action that mimics a panicking baitfish — a trigger that pike, perch, and zander struggle to ignore.
