The Westin FC (French Blade) Upstream is a purpose-built spinner for fishing against the current, combining a large French blade with a specially engineered 20g weight for precise, responsive performance.
When you pause the retrieve, the specially designed weight causes the lure to tip nose-down and sink in a controlled, natural dive. This unique action triggers reactive strikes from trout, perch, and other predators holding in current seams — even when fish are reluctant to chase.
The large French blade engages and starts spinning the moment you begin your retrieve — no lag, no dead water. The BKK hook is ultra-sharp straight out of the box, and swapping it out requires no tools, so you can change to a fresh hook bankside in seconds. Each spinner ships with two hooks included.
The FC Upstream #5 is available in 15g and 20g weights across a range of colour and blade-finish combinations to match different water clarity and light conditions.
