Its smaller French blade and specially shaped lead-free weight are engineered to keep the lure tracking straight and at a controlled depth when fished downstream, reducing blade stall and giving predators a clean, consistent target.

The FC Downstream is available in hook sizes #4 and #5 across weights from 20g to 40g, with copper or silver blade finishes. Heavier models cover deeper, faster water; lighter versions are ideal for shallower runs and smaller rivers. The copper blade finish – as on this variant – produces warm, amber tones that work particularly well in coloured or low-light water, while silver blade variants offer a brighter flash in clear conditions.
