The Westin FC (French Cast) Upstream is a purpose-built spinner designed specifically for fishing against the current, delivering instant blade rotation and a controlled face-down dive on every stop.
The oversized French blade engages the moment you begin your retrieve, with no dead lag at start-up. This means you can work short, precise drifts in flowing water without losing precious seconds of presentation time.
The specially engineered lead-free weight is shaped to tilt the lure nose-down during a spin stop, causing it to sink in a natural, enticing posture rather than fluttering erratically. This triggers reaction strikes from trout and other stream predators holding in current seams.
The FC Upstream #5 is available in two weights and a range of colour and blade-finish combinations to match conditions:
