The EDP-painted aluminium frame and side plates create a rigid, lightweight platform that handles everything from finesse softbaits to larger jerkbaits. Eight steel ball bearings—including two Japanese bearings—plus proprietary DuraGrease lubrication ensure consistent, friction-free operation even under pressure. The hinged side plate on the 100 size provides quick spool access for line changes.

Versatile casting control for pike, bass, zander and more

An internal centrifugal brake system lets you fine-tune cast control for different lure weights and conditions, while the non-loss tension knob stays secure during transport. The flat TPE soft-touch handle knobs and brass worm shaft deliver comfortable cranking power. Line-ID, a separate stainless steel reel seat, and a drag clicker round out the thoughtful feature set, making the SG8 100 equally capable on pike, bass, zander, perch and trout.
