Yes. The supplier describes casting from the bank and trolling from a boat for pike. The natural S-curve action suits these moving presentations. Check the chosen variant's weight, as the family ranges from 35 to 685 g and requires correspondingly suitable tackle.
Choose by the listed running depth, not weight alone. Slow-sinking 15, 20 and 25 cm versions are listed at 0.3–1 m, 0.5–1.2 m and 0.5–1.5 m respectively. The heavier versions of those lengths are listed at 1–2 m, 1.5–2.5 m and 1.5–3 m. No running depth is supplied for the 30 and 40 cm Perch versions.
Yes. It comes with a Carbon49 wire trace, Line Modifier Clip and SGY 1X BN hook. The enlarged Line Thru channel makes the trace and hook easier to replace, so you do not need to build the initial lure rig yourself.
The 15, 20 and 25 cm sizes offer Rainbow, Golden Albino, Green Silver, Lemon Trout and Fire Trout, with two weights per length. Perch is available at 30 cm and 303 g or 40 cm and 685 g. Select size and sinking behaviour first, then check which colour is offered in that combination.

The Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Trout is a pre-rigged soft swimbait for casting from the bank and trolling from a boat for pike. Its trout profile, detailed 4D Photo Chrome skin print and segmented body with realistic S-curve swimming action reproduce the appearance and movement of a baitfish.
The enlarged Line Thru channel runs through the nose and makes the wire trace and hook easier to replace. Each lure comes pre-rigged with a Carbon49 wire trace, Line Modifier Clip and SGY 1X BN hook, so the line-through setup is already fitted. A slot ahead of the anal fin accepts a small rattle or pellets, allowing an optional extra attractor to be added.
Length and weight determine the size of the presentation and the tackle needed to handle it. The 15 cm versions weigh 35 or 40 g, the 20 cm versions 93 or 98 g, and the 25 cm versions 180 or 193 g. The Perch versions extend the range to 30 cm at 303 g and 40 cm at 685 g, offering a much larger baitfish profile at a substantially higher weight.
For the 15 cm lures, slow-sinking versions are listed at 0.3–1 m and sinking versions at 1–2 m. At 20 cm, slow-sinking versions run at 0.5–1.2 m, while sinking and moderate-sinking versions are listed at 1.5–2.5 m. At 25 cm, slow-sinking versions run at 0.5–1.5 m, while sinking and moderate-sinking versions are listed at 1.5–3 m. Choose the slow-sinking option for the shallower listed range and the heavier option of the same length for the deeper listed range. No running depth is supplied for the 30 cm or 40 cm Perch versions.
The 15, 20 and 25 cm sizes are offered in Rainbow, Golden Albino, Green Silver, Lemon Trout and Fire Trout. Perch is supplied in the 30 and 40 cm sizes. Colours are not available in every buoyancy designation, so compare the specific variant's weight, colour and sinking behaviour. The 30 and 40 cm Perch versions also feature added scent. The lures contain lead. Where a package count is stated, it is one lure, not the supplier's trade-pack quantity.
