Machined from aircraft-grade aluminium in Penn's Philadelphia facility, the International VI series brings decades of American manufacturing expertise to your boat. The 30 VISW features a large stainless steel main and pinion gear set for durability under load, paired with 5 stainless steel bearings for smooth operation. The gold anodized finish resists saltwater corrosion, while the double-dog ratchet anti-reverse ensures instant hooksets.

Dura-Drag and 2-Speed Versatility

The Dura-Drag system eliminates hesitation and delivers smooth, consistent pressure even at the 13.6 kg max drag setting—critical when fighting powerful pelagics. Switch between 4.1:1 and 1.4:1 gear ratios on the fly with the Quick-Shift II lever to adapt your cranking power to the fight. The adjustable Versa-Strike stop lets you preset your drag for the initial strike, then transition to full fighting drag with confidence. Line capacity rings on the spool keep you informed of remaining line during long runs.
