Every International VISW reel is precision-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum in Penn's Philadelphia facility. Stainless Steel Gears and Dura-Drag System

The oversized stainless steel main and pinion gears deliver relentless torque and speed through the Quick-Shift II 2-speed system (3.5:1 high / 1.3:1 low). Retrieve rates of 104 cm per turn in high gear let you chase down fast pelagics, while the low gear provides 38 cm per turn for grinding power when it matters. The Dura-Drag system offers smooth, consistent pressure up to 20.4 kg maximum drag, virtually eliminating hesitation even under extreme load. Five stainless steel bearings, double-dog ratchet anti-reverse, and the adjustable Versa-Strike stop ensure absolute control from hookset to gaff.
