Fast Gear Access Side Plate

Penn's proprietary Fast Gear Access design lets you remove the side plate without tools, making mid-trip cleaning and bearing inspection quick and simple. The 3+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings and HT-100 carbon fiber drag washers are easy to reach, helping you keep the reel running smoothly in saltwater conditions.

Lightweight Graphite Construction

The graphite frame and side plates keep weight down to 476 g while the forged and machined aluminum spool, high-strength marine grade bronze alloy main gear, and stainless steel pinion gear deliver the durability you need for trolling and bottom fishing. • 20LWLC — 530 g, right-hand retrieve with integrated line counter for precise depth control

• 30LW / Penn Squall II Level Wind 30LH — 604 g, 14.9 kg max drag, 89 cm retrieve, 400 m / 0.49 mm mono or 625 m / 50 lb braid; suited to larger species and deeper drops

• 30LWLC — 632 g, left-hand retrieve with line counter for trolling at consistent depths
