Balzer's Norway team designed this rig specifically for vertical jigging (pilking) over northern reefs and wrecks. The three-hook arrangement maximises your chance of multiple hookups on hard-fighting cod, coalfish and pollack, while the stout 0.90 mm line diameter resists abrasion against rough seabed structure.
At 150 cm the leader gives enough drop to keep hooks clear of the jig without tangling, and the heavy monofilament handles the powerful runs typical of large cod. Supplied individually, it fits neatly into any existing sea-fishing trace system so you can rig up quickly even in rough conditions.
