The Balzer U-Posen-System (U-float system) is a purpose-built catfish rig combining a dual-hook setup with a 15 g float and a 47 kg mono leader — ready to fish straight from the packet.
The 200 cm leader works equally well for cast fishing with lead rigs and for break-away stone setups in current. The two-hook arrangement covers both deadbait and bunch-worm presentations: when using a baitfish, the smaller lower hook (3/0) is fixed in the mouth while the upper hook (5/0) rides free to improve hooking on the strike.
The leader is built on 1.0 mm monofilament rated to 47 kg, giving you the abrasion resistance and straight pull strength needed when targeting large river catfish. The integrated 15 g float keeps the bait at the desired depth and provides a clear visual bite indicator.
