The Hornet shines in flowing water — retrieve it slowly upstream against the current, or speed it up and let it pulse downstream with the flow. Short pauses near likely holding spots regularly trigger strikes. In lakes and ponds it performs equally well on the cast or trolled, with a quick rod-tip surge during the troll often provoking a bonus bite. The lure's vibrating action transmits clearly through the rod, keeping you in touch with what the bait is doing at all times.

Polycarbonate Build with Sharp VMC Trebles

The Hornet's body and diving bill are both formed from polycarbonate, giving the lure durability while maintaining the precise swimming action Salmo is known for. Two VMC Black Nickel treble hooks come rigged from the box, offering reliable hook-up rates on fast-reacting predators.
