The FTM Trout New Generation Runner is a versatile trout float (Schlepppose) built for stillwater trout fishing, covering long-distance casting, sliding, and deep-running presentations from a single design.

Fish at Distance with a Fixed Setup

Secure the float with a stop knot above the antenna and attach a short trout leader beneath it. This fixed configuration lets you present baits at long range across trout lakes and ponds with excellent bite visibility.

Three Fishing Methods, One Float

The Runner earns its name by doubling as a sliding float and a classic runner rig. For the slider, position a stop knot on the main line at the desired depth and add a small weight on the leader so the bait sinks naturally. For the runner method, mount an approximately 2 m trout leader with split shot to carry the bait down through the water column — ideal when trout are holding deep.

All variants share the same Schlepppose / Gleitpose / Runner float type and are supplied as 1 piece in your chosen load capacity. Select the carrying capacity that matches your leader weight and casting distance:
