The 7×7 braid construction — 49 individual strands of high-carbon stainless steel woven together — produces a wire that bends without kinking and passes smoothly through rings and swivels. The abrasion-resistant Co-Polyamide (co-polyamide) coating locks the strands together, cushions against sharp edges, and adds a meaningful layer of corrosion resistance whether you fish freshwater or salt.
The non-reflective matte black colour keeps the leader inconspicuous in clear or heavily pressured water. At 0.70 mm diameter and 24 kg breaking strain, this is a mid-range wire suited to medium-sized lures and rigs: stiff enough to resist the teeth of pike or muskie, light enough not to impede the action of soft plastics or jerkbaits.
