Savage Gear Sandeel Pencil 12.5 cm 19 g – extreme casting reach for sea trout

Based on a 3D scan of a real sandeel, the Sandeel Pencil swims with a seductive slim S-curve action just below the surface. On the stop it flutters and rolls backwards, triggering aggressive strikes from sea trout, bass and mackerel.

The hydrodynamic body and weight distribution deliver exceptional casting distance, letting you reach feeding zones far from shore or cover vast stretches of coastline efficiently. A built-in rattle chamber sends out loud clicking sounds when you twitch the lure, drawing predators from a distance even in murky conditions.

Flexible rigging for every situation

Supplied with both a Y-treble #5 and a wide-gape single hook #3/0, you can choose the configuration that suits your target species and local regulations. The belly eye lets you add the treble as a third hook for maximum hook-up rates when fish are striking short, or fish the lure with single hooks only for easier unhooking and better fish welfare.

• 9 cm, 13 g – for calmer conditions, shallower bays, smaller baitfish imitations and finesse presentations
